Deputies asking for help finding robbery suspect

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The search is on for a second suspect involved in two robberies at different grocery stores this week.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Craig Roberts on Friday.

Investigators say Roberts and another man worked together to rob the Kroger at 3128 Deans Bridge Road on Monday and the Bi-Lo at 3457 Peach Orchard Road the next day.

A joint team from Richmond and Aiken counties arrested Roberts at his home on Brooks Avenue in Aiken on Tuesday.

Surveillance pictures of the second suspect investigators are trying to find are attached. The second suspect is the black male wearing the gray and black hat with dreads.
