WILLISTON, S.C. (WRDW) -- A body found near a pond in Williston has been identified.
The Barnwell County coroner has confirmed this is the body of 23-year-old Spencer Strong. Strong was reported missing several weeks ago.
Williston police say a fisherman found Strong's body next to Williston High School around 2 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators say there were no apparent indications of foul play noted at the scene.
The cause of death has not been released at this time.
