UPDATE: Investigators searching for clues in arson on Vandivere Road

Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County fire investigators say they have an arson on their hands after flames and smoke filled an abandoned apartment building Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Magnolia Park complex on Vandivere Road just before 5 a.m.

Building 6 was full of flames and investigators say they found multiple points of origin for the fire.

Samples were taken and send to the GBI for further analysis.

No one was injured in the fire.
