UPDATE: Crews put out house fire on Legion Drive

EVANS, Ga. -- Columbia County investigators are looking for the cause of an overnight house fire in Evans.
Crews were called out around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday to Legion Drive near Owens Road.
When crews arrived on scene, they found the garage engulfed in flames. Two cars were destroyed by the blaze.
Crews say the home suffered a considerable amount of damage, but it is not a total loss.
The family was able to get out of their home unharmed.
