NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- Officials say an apartment fire in North Augusta on Monday afternoon was caused by a lightning strike.
The fire, which happened at a building on Cardinal Lane, took about 40 minutes to contain.
Firefighters closed the road while they were putting out the flames.
There is no word if anyone was inside at the time of the fire or if there are any injuries.
