AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Both northbound lanes of Jefferson Davis Highway were blocked near the Graniteville exit following an accident on Tuesday afternoon.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Judd Jones says there were four vehicles involved. Two of the vehicles were driving north on Highway 1 and the other two were driving south when one of the southbound vehicles, a black pickup truck, changed lanes in front of the other one.

That car then lost control, crossing over the median and hitting the cars in the northbound lanes.

The driver and passenger in one of the northbound cars were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was injured.

The SCHP is looking for the black pickup truck. The driver could face charges for leaving the scene of an accident.
