AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man who was arrested on Tuesday in connection to one robbery is believed to be associated with multiple robberies in the area.

Leon Player is charged in robberies at the Microtel Inn and Suites on Gordon Highway on April 2 and the Days Inn Motel on Deans Bridge Road on March 29.

Leon and his wife, Imani, were arrested in connection to a robbery at Greene City Auto on Tuesday.

Investigators say Leon went into Greene City Auto on Greene Street and got some cash. After getting the money, investigators say he got into a red Ford Windstar minivan driven by Imani and got away.

Leon is being charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of having a weapon during the crime.
