THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW)-The drowning of a 7-year-old autistic boy has been ruled an accident by the Coroner's Office, according to special agent Pat Morgan with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Jeremiah Kalume drowned in a Mcduffie County pond less than a mile from his home Wednesday, after wandering away.

The GBI is still conducting interviews in the investigations and will turn all the evidence over to the DA's Office once it's finished, Morgan said.
