Commissioners vote for Veterans Day to become paid holiday

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned that the Augusta Commission voted in favor of a new paid holiday.

It was a unanimous vote for the Augusta Commission on Tuesday night.

Now Veterans Day will be recognized as a paid day off for all city employees.
