AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- An Augusta Commissioner is all caught up on his property taxes.

Marion Williams wrote a check for nearly $3,000 to settle his debt, the tax commissioner's office confirms.

News 12 first reported last week, Williams was behind for the bills on three separate properties in Augusta.

There were liens placed on two of the homes because he hadn't paid, but all of the bills are taken care of and the liens should be removed after the paperwork is processed.
