AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned the Comcast Call Center on River Shoals Parkway is going to be closing and laying off dozens of employees.
An estimated 79 employees will be laid off sometime between May 3 and May 16.
The company says it will be working with displaced employees to help them find other positions. According to a news release, employees will be eligible for severance benefits if they do not transfer to another job with Comcast.
