Debris removal in 48 zones in Columbia County was completed Wednesday night, the Columbia County EMA director Pam Tucker said.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- Debris removal in 48 zones in Columbia County was completed Wednesday night, the Columbia County EMA director Pam Tucker said.

The county removed 539,587 cubic yards and is in the process of filing a claim with FEMA for the debris removal costs during the first 30 days of the disaster, Tucker said.
