Columbia Co. releases locations, times of flu clinics

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- The Columbia County Health Department has released the time, dates and locations of flu clinics throughout the county.
The flu vaccine costs $26, the flu mist costs $35 and the high-dose flu vaccine is $45. You'll need to bring proof of insurance for Medicaid, Medicare, Peachcare and United Healthcare SHBP. Both cash and checks will be accepted.
Columbia County Health Department (1930 William Few Pkwy Grovetown, GA 30813):
-Sept. 21: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Sept. 28: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Oct. 2: 3 to 7 p.m.
-Oct. 5: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Oct. 12: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Oct. 19: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Oct. 26: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Additional locations:
-Augusta Prep - Oct. 9: 2:30 to 6 p.m.
-Evans Middle School - Oct. 9: 3 to 6 p.m.
-North Harlem Elementary - Oct. 10: 3 to 6 p.m.
-Columbia County Government Auditorium - Oct. 4: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
-Grovetown City Hall - Oct. 11: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
-Greenbrier Elementary School - Oct. 16: 3 to 6 p.m.
-Lakeside Middle School - Oct. 18: 3 to 6 p.m.
From the Columbia County Health Department: "The vaccine is approved for people 6 months and older, including healthy people and people with chronic medical conditions. The mist is approved for healthy people 2 to 49 years of age who are not pregnant."
