COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Columbia County Water Utility says some homes built before 1988 could have elevated lead levels in drinking water.
The Water Utility says lead was not found in the county's raw water supplies but older homes are at risk.
If you are concerned about the water in your home, you can have it tested by the Columbia County Water Utility for $25. The department can also answer any questions you have on testing and ways to reduce your exposure to lead. For more information, call (706) 860-2587.
