AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Club Fiesco owners have been given several tickets within the last 18 months, and it could be the end of the road for the club.
"No more Fiesco," said Shirley Neil, who works a few blocks down from the club.
Neil not only wants the club's liquor license suspended but says she thinks city leaders should close the doors for good.
"They leave trash all in front of our business. We tow cars they leave on our property. It's just dangerous," Neil said.
Deadly is more like it. Edward Yancey, 21, was killed in the club's parking lot in January. The person accused of killing Yancey is 18-year-old Deontre Alvez Hubert.
Club Owner Daniel Magana has seen blue lights a lot. The club was cited for having strippers illegally in 2011. Magana has also been given four tickets for allowing minors in the club.
"There's minor in there. We see them coming out all the time. They know it and it needs be to closed down," Neil said.
City leaders recently voted to suspend Club Fiesco's license for 90 days and place the club on probation for a year.
"If they have a similar situation while on probation, then we'd ask commissioners to revoke their license," said Deputy Director of Planning and Development Rob Sherman.
"They need to close it down or have police and a fire marshal there," Neil said.
