AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW)- Club Car of Augusta recalled some of its golf carts Tuesday, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commissioner.
The company recalled around 1,800 of its golf carts for a falling risk. It said the hip restraint on the passenger side can fracture and cause falls. Club Car has had one reported injury.
The recalled vehicles are different types of model year 2012 Precedent 12 golf and transport vehicles.
Consumers are advised to stop using the golf carts and contact Club Car for a free part replacement. The company said it's contacting its customers directly.
