COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- A local Republican Party official is out on bond.
A judge set bond at $40,000 on Friday for Brett Langham.
Langham, who also goes by B.B., was recently indicted on sex abuse charges by a Columbia County grand jury.
The victim said she woke up to Langham groping her below the waist.
News 12 interviewed Langham last year when his neighborhood was underwater. He was asking Augusta commissioners to step up and pay for his home. Langham also blew the whistle on time card fraud involving the Richmond County Utilities Department in 2010.
He is the Commission District 5 representative for the Richmond County Republican Party.
