UPDATE: Name released of child who fell into Augusta Mall fountain

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The name of the 2-year-old who fell into a fountain at the Augusta Mall has been released.

The Sheriff's Office and EMS were called to the lower level of the mall near Sears around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon when Alayna Rose Ishmael went into the water.

A nurse who was shopping at the mall started CPR on the girl, and EMS took over after getting to the scene.

The child was revived and taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

The investigation into the incident continues.

Ishmael is still in the hospital.

There will be no criminal charges against the mother
