UPDATE: Child struck on Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. -- A 7-year-old boy was struck at Ascauga Lake Road and Breezy Hill Road on Friday morning.
It happened just after 7 a.m. when the driver was heading west on Breezy Hill Road and the boy stepped out in front of the car.
The boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation continues, but the driver will not face any charges.
