Charges dropped against teen accused in Greenbrier High School murder plot

Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- News 12 has learned a judge has dropped the charge against a student involving a murder plot at Greenbrier High School.

In February, a jury indicted Christian Annis for conspiracy to commit murder.

However, just days ago, Judge Carlisle Overstreet ordered that the charge be dropped.

Columbia County deputies say Annis and another girl were planning on killing a fellow student. They were arrested in October.

Annis is the nephew of Judge Michael Annis.
