AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The cause of death has been determined for the man whose body was found in a car in a shopping center parking lot along Washington Road.
Richmond County Coroner Grover Tuten says 21-year-old Dayton Counsell of Appling died from "multiple drug and alcohol intoxication."
According to the autopsy, the drugs involved were methamphetamine and methylone, which is also known as the street drug bath salts.
Investigators say Counsell's body was in a car near Country Club for several days before being reported in May.
