AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- There's no evidence of compromised data from shoppers of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, Goodwill Industries said in a release.

The 165 Goodwill organizations in the U.S. operate independently and do not share customer data across a national network.

The organization said some debit and credit card info may have been hacked earlier this year, but an investigation shows it was just a potential vulnerability, not an actual breach.

Goodwill said this isn't similar to Target's breach because each Goodwill operates on its own, not as a national network
