AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned Butler High School will be starting a second round of tuberculosis testing on Tuesday.
Health officials recommend that anyone who has not been tested yet or received a negative skin test in November should come and get tested.
If you test negative on the first round, a second skin test is needed, as it can take up to three months to develop a positive result.
The testing and readings will take place in the Butler High School Gym Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Testing will happen on Tuesday and Wednesday and results will be read on Thursday and Friday. If you are tested, you will need to return to get your results read two days later.
The service is being provided to students and staff for free.
