ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. -- A business is going to be placing a new facility in Allendale County that could create up to 18 new jobs.
The $23 million investment by eCycling International will create a recycling and processing service facility in the former Mohawk building in Ulmer. It is set to open in five months.
"Today's announcement from eCycling International SC is another win for one of our state's rural areas. We celebrate the company's decision to invest $23 million in Ulmer and create new jobs. We are working hard every day to recruit new businesses to all areas of South Carolina," said Gov. Nikki Haley in a news release.
The company will begin hiring in four months for the new positions.
