AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man is in custody after allegedly forcibly entering multiple businesses in Aiken.

Quinton Taylor, 22, was arrested on Sunday and charged with six counts of second-degree burglary.

Officers were first called to the Little China restaurant on York Street on Sunday around 5 a.m. They found the front windows of the restaurant had been busted, along with the windows of the Nail Art Salon and Approved Cash Payday Loans.

Officers also found a broken window at the Beakers convenience store on University Parkway, which is when they say they found a man inside the counter, who was taken into custody without incident.

They also found busted windows at the Lemonade Stand on University Parkway and the Automotive Service & Machine Shop on York Street. A nearby business, Steven's Monuments, had its back door forced open.

According to law enforcement, money and surveillance equipment were taken from some of the businesses. Officers were able to recover the items.
