Brian Prince wins District 127 runoff election

RICHMOND COUNTY & JEFFERSON COUNTY (WRDW) -- The results for Georgia's House District 127 runoff election are in, with retired Army officer Brian Prince is the winner.

Prince received 1443 votes, or 56 percent. Pastor Diane Evans finished second with 1,111 votes, or 44 percent of the vote.

The election is to fill the seat to replace State Representative Quincy Murphy who died in July.

These results are unofficial until certified.
