Border Bash headliner announced

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Kristian Bush, one half of platinum-selling country duo Sugarland, will headline this year's Border Bash in the Augusta Common on Sept. 12, according to a release.

The Joe Stevenson Band will be back for the 7th year before the headliner for the 21st Border Bash.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Kids 12 years old and under are free. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

The University of South Carolina and University of Georgia cheerleaders as well as mascots Hairy Dawg and Cocky will be on hand throughout the evening

"Border Bash was created to celebrate the football rivalry between border state schools – the University of Georgia and the University of South Carolina – while supporting CSRA children’s charities and clubs," a release said.
