NEW ELLENTON, S.C. (WRDW) -- Certain parts of New Ellenton are under a boil water advisory this morning.

The Commission of Public Works says customers living in the Dry Branch Road area to the Medwill Hill Road area are experiencing a pressure loss right now.

The problem comes from a water main line that ruptured along Highway 19.

You'll need to boil your water for at least one minute before using it to cook or drinking.

The boil water advisory is expected to be in place until Friday morning or until further notice.
