Swainsboro police investigating murder

SWAINSBORO, Ga. (WRDW) -- Swainsboro authorities are investigating a murder.

Jennifer Sutton, 37, was found dead in a wooded neighborhood near Lincolnton Street and Gumlog Road just between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m.

According to Chief Ellison, Sutton was found in a vacant lot between two houses.

Authorities are investigating this as a homicide.
