AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Board of Elections decided to strike 24 names off the voter list after issues with addresses.
Executive Director Lynn Bailey says of the 33 people who were challenged about their addresses, 20 listed business addresses while 13 listed vacant lots.
Before the hearings, the issues with five of the business addresses and four of the vacant lot addresses were resolved.
The 24 remaining voters had the chance to explain themselves or change their addresses at their hearings Monday night.
All of the voters are eligible to re-register to vote with updated information.
