Blasting scheduled for Columbia Co. this week

APPLING, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned blasting has been scheduled for this week in Columbia County.
EMA Director Pam Tucker says Blair Construction is working on a water line project near Scotts Ferry and White Oak roads in Appling.
Tucker says the company will have to conduct at least one blast, and possibly more, depending on the rock.
The work will start on Wednesday.
