BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- The second suspect in a deadly shooting Monday night has been arrested.
The Blackville police chief says Tracy Moore was arrested Wednesday night.
Investigators say two gunmen kicked in the door to Anthony Dennis Black's backyard shed on Aug. 21. Black, along with Demetrias Henry and Leonieas Walker, were watching television in the shed when deputies say the two suspects told all three victims to get on the ground.
Deputies say the robbers tied their hands with zip ties and made them lie on their stomachs. The suspects then searched all three victims, taking several items including wallets, cellphones and cigarettes.
As the robbers were leaving, Black hit one of the suspects. That's when deputies say one suspect shot him in the back, and the other shot him in the leg.
Black was taken off life support at GHS Medical Center Wednesday afternoon.
The Blackville police chief says the two suspects in Monday night's murder may be involved in a shooting from last Monday, too.
The city administrator of Blackville says there will be a public forum about the recent violence in the town on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Blackville community center. The mayor and police chief will be there to address the public's concerns.
BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- The Blackville Police Department has made one arrest and is still looking for another suspect in connection to Monday's fatal shooting.
Arbre Bernard Robinson of Williston was arrested and has been charged with one count of murder. Robinson is being held in the Barnwell County Detention Center and is awaiting bond.
Investigators are looking for 27-year-old Tracy Maurice Davis of Blackville in connection to the shooting. He is said to have gang affiliations with Folk Nation and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Davis is a black male and is said to be 5'6".
Police responded to the shooting on the 100 block of Davis Street just after 6 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived on scene, they found 65-year-old Leon Brown of Columbia with a gunshot wound.
Brown was transported to Barnwell County Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Witnesses say two suspects entered the residence and one produced a handgun, took items from Brown and then ran off. Officers say Brown attempted to go after the suspects and was then shot.
This was the second murder in Blackville this summer. In July, Brandon Jamar Davis was accused of killing Ronnie Rashawn Thomas during a fight. A second person, Sharena Mayes, was charged with accessory after the fact.
If you know where Davis is, call the Blackville Police Department at (803) 284-2333.
