Monetta, Sc. (WRDW)-The Big Mo in Monetta is one of nine drive-in movie theaters receiving a digital projector from Honda's "Project Drive-In."

"Project Drive-In," sponsored by Honda, aimed to help drive-in theaters across the country stay in business. It started as the switch from 35 mm film distribution to digital projection threatened the shut down of hundreds of theaters.

People voted for which drive-in theaters they thought should receive a digital projector from Aug. 9 to Sept. 9, and one of those winning theaters was the Big Mo.
