AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Alcohol may have been a factor in an accident that sent four people to the hospital.

Jesse Reed,62, the driver of a white Ford pickup truck, was driving south on Laurens Street when he ran the red light at Hampton Avenue, he then lost control of the truck, and ran into two other vehicles that were waiting at the red light on the other side of Hampton. Authorities says one of these vehicles bumped into another car.

Two cars rolled over in the four-car crash. Officers say four people were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Public Safety reports say Reed's breath smelled of alcohol and
officers saw bottles of Dos Equis inside of his truck and on the road.
A blood sample is being analyzed by the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
