AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Christmas morning was quite a surprise for one Augusta teenager.
Taylor Rutledge, 17, woke up to a popular game show right in her living room and walked away with the big prize on her family's version of "Let's Make a Deal."
Her parents, Army Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Rutledge and Tawana Rutledge, played the part of game show hosts for their daughter's favorite TV show.
"You can keep that $100 or you can trade it in for one of these boxes," said her father.
With a moment's hesitation, Taylor made her choice.
"I'm gonna take the box! I'm gonna open the box. I'm taking the box!" she said.
Then the real surprise was the prize Taylor was hoping for: a 2013 Chevy Sonic.
The Rutledge family posted a video of the surprise on YouTube and say family and friends have been commenting. Click here to see the full video.
Her parents say Taylor was expecting a car for graduation -- but not for Christmas. Her mother told News 12 that she makes good grades and they wanted to reward her.
No doubt, Taylor's parents win most creative gift of the year!
