UPDATE: Augusta road back open after repairs

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned that crews have completed construction and Wooten Road is back open.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A portion of an Augusta road has been closed after it caved in on Friday morning.

The repairs for the 1500 block of Wooten Road are expected to take at least a week.

Drivers can use 15th Street and Eagles Way as a detour.
