AUGUSTA, Ga. -- An Augusta man has pleaded guilty to the murder of a former Glenn Hills football star.

Ervin Jackson pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole on Monday.

Jackson killed 19-year-old Webster Thacker in Barton Village last December.

Deputies say the two got into an argument, which is when the shooting happened.
