Augusta man arrested in connection to car theft

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to a vehicle theft.
Rodney Ezell Ward, 40, was arrested at home on Thursday. He is charged with theft by receiving stolen property (motor vehicle) and five counts of financial transaction card theft.
Ward is also facing charges in Columbia and Aiken counties.
