Augusta man accused of leading deputies on car chase

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- An Augusta man is wanted in Columbia County after allegedly leading deputies on a chase Friday morning.

Deputies started chasing 39-year-old Richard Adam German on Reynolds Road around 1:30 a.m. When German got to Powell Road, he is accused of then getting out of his car and running away.

German is wanted for fleeing and eluding and has been cited for driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
