AUGUSTA, Ga. -- An Augusta woman has been indicted for allegedly abusing her 10-year-old granddaughter.

Minnie Lee Lamb was arrested back in November and is accused of beating the child with a belt back in June. Investigators say the girl had cuts and bruises all over her legs, arm and face.

Lamb has been indicted for cruelty to children in the first degree and remains in the Richmond County Jail.
