Augusta Commissioners will have a long meeting on Tuesday

Augusta,Ga (WRDW)-------The Mills project will be a hot topic on Tuesday, May 6th for Augusta Commissioners.

Some commissioners are questioning the use of millions for King and Sibley Mills when some parts of South Augusta don't have sidewalks or street lights.

Commissioner Alvin Mason also has an agenda item where he will discuss removing SPLOST seven from the ballot and reworking the projects.

City leaders will vote on adding five 911 dispatchers which will cost between $60,000 to $75,000.

The City's Housing and Community Development Department could receive a $2.5 million loan to continue work in the Laney Walker Revitalization Project.
