AUGUSTA, Ga (WRDW) -- On Monday afternoon, Augusta Commissioners will discuss giving a $2.5 million loan to the city's Housing and Community Development Department.
The money will be used to continue building homes for the Laney Walker Revitalization project.
Leaders will also discuss adding five additional 911 dispatch officers to support Sheriff Richard Roundtree's community policing plan.
The fire department has a request in to buy more than 50 new air packs.
Also, Commissioners will talk about changing the policy on how much the Airport Director makes.
