UPDATE: Man arrested in attempted robbery at GNC

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to the armed robbery at GNC Tuesday night.
Officials say 23-year-old Brendan Allen Gray Jr. was arrested in Hephzibah after running from his residence into a wooded area from investigators.
He was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana.
Officials say Gray and another person attempted to rob the GNC on Bobby Jones Expressway.
The store clerk suffered minor injuries but was able to leave the store to get to safety.
The Sheriff's Office says they expect to make another arrest soon on the co-defendant.
