UPDATE: Ascauga Lake Rd. back open after car knocked over power line

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Power crews cleaned up downed lines on Ascauga Lake Road. after a car knocked over a power pole around midnight, said Aiken County dispatch.

Dispatch said SCE&G and Aiken Electric were called out to the scene near Rainbow Falls Rd. Both power companies reported dozens of outages overnight on Ascauga Lake Road and Breezy Hill Road.

Ascauga Lake Road is back open after hours of being shut down. Dispatch said no one was hurt in the accident.
