MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- Police have made an arrest in the fatal Father's Day weekend shooting of a father of two near Myrtle Beach.

Authorities say 24-year-old Antonio Dexter Smith was shot and killed Saturday in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the Carolina Forest area west of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Twenty-nine-year-old Delshawn Anthony Davis of Conway is charged with murder. Police say he turned himself in Tuesday. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

A police report says witnesses heard between four and six gunshots from the parking lot at the time of the shooting and then saw a car speed away.

Police say the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
