Arrest made in Augusta New Year's murder

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Deputies have made an arrest in connection to a New Year's Day fatal shooting in Augusta.

Authorities arrested 18-year-old Deontre Alvez Hubert on Thursday night.

Hubert faces murder and weapons charges.

Edward Yancey, 21, was shot and killed outside Club Fiesco on Peach Orchard Road New Year's Day. Witnesses say the he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Read more here.
