UPDATE: Armed robbery investigation underway at North Augusta gas station

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- North Augusta Public Safety officers are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station on Old Edgefield Rd. at Atomic Rd.

Dispatch says officers responded after 11 p.m. Tuesday to the Save Stop.
Officers say a suspect wearing all black held up the convenience store with a gun.

They are still searching for a suspect. No one was injured during the robbery.
