Another string of car break-ins hit Hephzibah neighborhood

Hephzibah, Ga. (WRDW) -- Investigators are searching for thieves who broke into more than a dozen cars over a three hour period in a Hephzibah neighborhood.

Deputies responded to a total of 13 calls on Monday to Dave MacDonald Drive, where some neighbors say their cars were broken into and ransacked. Some reported money, and other valuable stolen.

One victim says her front window was busted out of her car.

Deputies aren't saying if these break-ins are related to last weeks break-ins in another area of Hephzibah.

Investigators are warning residents to keep their doors locked and take their valuable items inside with them.
