DENMARK, S.C. (WRDW) -- Marteesha Williams still has a lot of healing to do.

"I was stabbed twice here. Once in the neck. Twice in this area right here, and once in my back," she shows News 12. "I didn't even feel the stabs until, you know, the third or fourth strike."

Just last week, she says she was stabbed on campus at Denmark Technical College. A video News 12 has obtained shows what happened. Williams says even though she and her alleged attacker had words in the past, she didn't provoke the attack and didn't want to fight. The video appears to show Williams, in a red dress, backing up before the attacker returns.

"She used a pair of small scissors to stab me," says Williams. "It was a bunch of blood. It was so much blood to where two security guards got drenched."

But after a visit to the hospital, Williams got a surprise. She has been expelled, along with her daughter, too, who Williams says jumped into the fight to protect her mom. Documents show both have been charged with assault and battery and expelled for disrupting school.

"It hurts me to know that my child was crying saying that the only thing I did was come to my mother's rescue. You have to excuse me. And she gets kicked out of school for coming to my rescue, so that makes me feel very bad," says Williams.

Denmark Tech Public Safety Chief Judy Halmon tells News 12 indirectly that the incident report is still not done, and requests for more info, including the name and any charges against the person shown in the video attacking Williams, weren't answered.

News 12 did get an email from the school's attorney. Denmark Tech's attorney tells us they can't give us an incident report, since the case is still under investigation.
