AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Deputies say they are waiting for a man to get out of the hospital to find out if he was drinking when he hit two cars and a fence in his own neighborhood.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday. Deputies say a person driving on Scott Road near Miles Road hit a van, a BMW and a fence.

There was blood around the vehicle. Deputies say the driver was taken to the hospital by his wife.

His injuries are not yet known. It's also unclear what charges he might face.
